Lena Abraham's life as a performer began long before the camera — trained in the Stanislavski method in Ukraine, she performed in independent theatre in Donetsk, taking on lead roles in works by Chekhov, Turgenev, Kotlyarevsky, Gogol, and Bulgakov. That classical foundation gave her something most screen actors spend years trying to find: the ability to be completely present, completely truthful, and completely still.
After relocating to the United States, Lena deepened her craft with formal training in both the Lee Strasberg and Stanislavski methods, two of the most rigorous and respected approaches to screen and stage performance in the world. The result is an actress who doesn't just play a character. She inhabits one.
